It's been around ten years since that poll, I'd certainly be curious to see how things may have evolved. Maybe take a quick survey of what software is out there that may not have been in use then (thinking about Blender, NSD, Terrain Texture Shader etc.) before posting a new poll though?

We could certainly start another poll, the cartographic landscape has changed a bit in the last few years with e.g. Mapbox entering the field and QGIS becoming stronger.
