Hi,

I am struggling to find ways to do a calculation which assigns a value for each forest pixel, which is a count of dissimilar neighbors in the adjacent eight pixels (I have a land cover map with three classes: forest, bushy areas and barren areas) Is there any way to do it in arcgis? I am beginner and your help and suggestions are highly appreciated.
