We have a client whose content management system does not allow .swf files with external references... the Flash file needs to be self-contained. Both Zoomify and MaPublisher solutions result in .swf files that refer to externals. Any thoughts on a geographic solution that does what they need? Has anyone else run into this problem?

For now, we're hosting the .swf and associated files on our web server, and providing HTML to them that links to it.

Can you see if your client can change the cross-domain policy file? Assuming the external references are coming from a different url...
