Shouldn't the banner ad for esri at the top of this site read:
'Produce more maps with fewer resources' ?

The latest: I took a course last week, and they are now using the term "shaded relief" to describe the combination of hillshading with hypsometric colours. I can understand the convenience of having a term to describe this creature, but appropriating a word that has a long history of meaning something else, and doesn't even make sense in this new usage, can only cause confusion every time it's used. The stupidity is baffling.
