Actually, as you can see on the zooming tool to the left, you can zoom in one more step. Good news for cartos, bad news for privacy advocates!

If you pan a little bit you can see these blokes who seem to be using a remote that I'm guessing controls the aerial sensors that took the hi-resolution pics.

I think that's the same guy, just on 2 different exposures.

The nagging mystery of this Google Map imagery surfaced this morning and stuck with me 'till I figured it out. It's Frank Taylor (from Google Earth Blog) who is sailing around the world in the Tahina.
