Does anyone have a download link for a current world political boundaries GIS dataset for provinces (i.e. Level 2) at 1:10,000,000?
I have found the GADM 1:1,000,000 dataset but it is too detailed (300 megs)
Other similar datasets do not have current political boundaries (i.e, provinces in Afghanistan), so I have exhausted my data library for a good solution.
Any data leads much appreciated!

Thanks Kay - I need something more detailed than 1:10,000,0000 as it turns out. Places like Singapore are not detailed enough.

ESRI Data & Maps?
Thanks. I have this - Natural Earth is likely the best 1:10mil free dataset. My smoothening tool in ArcMap 10 isn't digging the jagged complexity of the GADM data.
