Hi, I'm not a cartographer but I am hoping you can help me. I am looking to formulate a collection of illustrated city maps for a travel library. The only ones I can find that have a consistent design and cover a range of cities worldwide are from publishers such as Streetwise or Explorer. Although practical, they are not the most beautiful. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I can find a selection of city maps which have a more "designed" sensibility? It doesn't have to be every city in the world, in fact it doesn't even have to be illustrated if it's well designed, but at this stage I'm struggling to find anything. I've bought up all of the alacarte maps (www.alacartemaps.com) but they only cover fifteen cities. Any suggestions appreciated!
