A little bit about me:

I studied Geo-Informatics (a mix of GIS, cartography and some geodesy) at the Hogeschool van Utrecht, in The Netherlands. I graduated in 1999 and started working for a company that sold and supported a number of GIS and cartography related products, notably MAPublisher. I did tech support, training, project work etc, covering the entire workflow from GIS data to a finished map.

Last August I decided to start my own business, offering support and consultancy services (but hopefully more in the future) in the field of GIS and cartography. Personally I would like to move more towards 3D visualisation and I'm in the process of checking out various options for that, as well as working on one major project.

Apart from that I also collect maps and atlases (mostly store-bought or 2nd hand, no antiques I'm afraid) and I enjoy looking through them for inspiration.
