My husband's website www.mapbiquity.com now has a 1.5 minute video that shows how it works! Mapbiquity is a service that enables a person with a shapefile - or many shapefiles - to make a map for their website without needing any knowledge of web mapping. It would be great if you could pass this on to anyone who might be interested. Thank you!

Gretchen, why is this more useful than GeoCommons? Is it because your data remains private??

Thanks for the question, Eli.
No doubt there are a lot of other great sites out there that provide similar functionality. Our goal is to provide an extremely simple approach to getting a web map on your website. Although we'll be expanding our functionality as time goes on, keeping it as simple as possible will be our main goal.
Thanks,
Kris Peterson

I like the video
It's amazing how many firms out there release terribly underproduced tutorial videos!
