Here's an interesting map to ponder whether you're apart of it or not.

Coming from Hawaii and knowing how connected the islands are culturally and economically to the rest of the pacific and Asia, it's interesting to see how lop sided the Facebook interactions are. I would have expected more connectivity back to Japan, China and the Philippines.

Certainly shows that Facebook is not popular in China given they have their own version. I would have thought that Germany wouldn't be so connected, I thought they had a German language version there that was more popular than Facebook?

Fills in some of those gaps. It's a shame you can't create a link between other networks.

The German version, called StudiVZ, is a sinking ship in my eyes - they lack a lot of functionality Facebook offers while having privacy problems of their own... Thus throughout the last year or two, FB is getting momentum while StudiVZ only tries to keep up (and fails in my eyes...)
