Thanks!
Thanks to everyone that helped make the 30th anniversary of NACIS a huge success! Each year the presentations at NACIS leave us feeling inspired and full of new cartographic ideas, due in large part to the contributions and support from its membership. For those of you who missed the meeting, check out the chatter here on CartoTalk and Facebook. We hope to see you next year in Madison!

Madison 2011
If manatees, saltwater, and tropical temperatures weren't your thing this year, we hope you will join us in Madison, WI for NACIS 2011. It's sure to be another exciting conference, "exposing" us all to new techniques in cartography.

New Board Members
Thanks for voting! Check out the NACIS community page to meet your representatives.

Get involved!
Maybe you have ideas or thoughts about what NACIS can be doing, or ways that you would like to be involved in next year's conference. If so, please contact Tanya Buckingham. If not, here are a few ideas to help get you started:

Promoting NACIS
Please let us know if you would be willing to distribute NACIS Call for Participation to other groups (Local, State, National, International) that you belong to or are affiliated. Tanya Buckingham has all the information you'll need.

Sessions
Have an idea for a topic that you'd like to see presented? Send it along; we'll try to help you fill out the session with related presentations. Send your ideas to Erik Steiner.

Practical Cartography Day
If you'd like to be involved in PCD, in any way (planning, sponsoring, supplying cookies in the afternoon, etc.,) please contact the PCD organizers: Tim Wallace and Sam Pepple.

Challenges to Cataloging and Serving Data
Interested in helping with a day dedicated to issues around organizing and serving map data? Contact Jaime Stoltenberg.
