The web is not getting any 'simpler' for me. There are a lot of cartography related blogs, sites, businesses etc. out there. You can waste a lot of time doing 'cartographic' surfing.
In order not to drift away from my projects, I have reduced my daily non project related surfing to two stops.

As for Weekends (no limits):
Fun searches, business related, data etc...

Maybe others can share the sites they visit on a daily basis.

Cheers!

I subscribe to sites and use a blog reader to skim through them all. this way I get everything I want at one location and can read in depth those articles that interest me.

I always look up that site in the morning... kinda makes my day (or at least makes for a good start).

Here is another one with the four letter word in it...

Good thread. I've been reading The Map Room quite a bit lately. There are a lot of entries on mapping technology and websites (iPhone apps, Google Earth, OpenStreetMap, etc.), plus a lot of cool and funky maps. It's updated irregularly, with several new posts a week.

I visit regularly forums (GIS and cartography forum in french, forumsig.org and georezo.net, CartoTalk in english), and Strange Maps.

For the news i look into OSGEO's Planet and some mailing lists.

The maps one is quite a good to flick through as well. I really enjoyed both those sites, thanks for sharing.

My immaturity must be shining through right now but both those URLs are gold!! :D

Rudy,

Neat, I looked up 'google reader' seems like a time saving way to keep up with your favorite blogs.
