Is anyone interested in sharing a hotel room at the upcoming NACIS meeting in St. Pete in order to bring down the cost a bit? I already have a room reserved from 10/12-10/18. Send me a message if you are interested.

The conference hotel block is nearly full. There are other options in the area, listed below. Also, keep an eye on the Tampa Bay Rays baseball team, who play at home, just 8 blocks away. They are in a race with the Yankees, if the Rays do not perform as expected, it is possible that we will see many additional rooms open up in the conference hotel. We will be in touch with the Hilton and put the word out if this happens. We have 60 or so guests with rooms already reserved at the Hilton. Anyone who would like to add a roomie to keep NACItes closer, please feel free to post here!

That said, there are some great options less than a mile away. Has anyone reserved rooms at these places? Where have people found a place to crash between NACIS events?

This is actually a great idea. Next time I try to share a hotel room as well. Saves a little bit of money and you can meet other people as well.
