Hmmm, interesting concept, and it would actually work for the US, UK and maybe Canada. However, it still doesn't do international geocoding.

For an easier way of doing US geocoding, try geocoder.us

wow, that is a lot of steps. One might want to check the user agreement for Google Earth before doing this, if it is for commercial purposes, I think it might not be allowed...
