Just found this site early this morning. Some of you probably already know of it but I wanted to pass it along anyway. A huge collection of historical maps at pretty good resolution for screen browsing. I've already spent several hours looking at old Civil War maps.

Enjoy!

I notice they have some maps that they gave anachronistic or otherwise odd titles to:
United States in 1600's?
Colonial Map of United States?

There are lots of cool and interesting maps there. See the one with the sun breaking through dark clouds to shine on the east coast of Florida. Or the Historical map American Expeditionary Force.

Seems like the maps are all just taken from the Library of Congress website.

I was wondering when someone was going to scrape the Library of Congress of all their historical maps and offer prints.

Not nearly as benevolent as David Rumsey who offers free hi-res downloads! I wonder when his images will show-up on their site?

Yeah, agreed. Rumsey's site has it all over this one. You can't beat free hi-res downloads no matter what.
