Hello,
I'm working on a script (Arcgis 9.3.1 - python) where I would like to sum values of n x m (number of rasters varies) rasters. They are of same extend and type. I know that I can sum raster values with Weighted Sum function but I would really like to use some iteration approach. Is it possible to sum raster in Arcgis this way:
SumRaster = SumRaster + iRaster
I'm digging in Arcgis forum and I haven't found anything that relates to my problem.

Thank you

I think you have to create a new raster in each step:
SumRaster2 = SumRaster1 + inRasterA
SumRaster3 = SumRaster2 + inRasterB
etc...

But - what if you run a combine on the rasters, and then just sum up the columns? (only works if they are integer)
