Hello all,
I understand I can't transform data directly from a spheroid (Bessel 1841) to a datum (GCS WGS84).
But if I have data for the Aegean Sea described as Greek 1841 UTM 35N what likely datums should I
be trying to transform to and from WGS84.
Many thanks,
David

I can't provide an answer out of the box, but some good information on Greek grids is presented here: http://www.asprs.org...02-hellenic.pdf

Thanks for the info Crischan.
For anyone else with this dilemma....
I contacted ESRI and they told me a new transformation from "Greek" to GRSS87 is now supported in ArcGIS 10.
Cheers,
Dave
