Sanborn is in search of a senior-level Cartographer with experience creating complex, high-quality map products. Successful candidates will have 10 years of experience and expertise in GIS and graphics software. This is a contract position supporting the USDA Forest Service in Portland, Oregon.

Required Skills

1) Expertise in ArcGIS, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.

2) Thorough knowledge of cartographic principles. Highly skilled in cartographic design. Practical knowledge of lithography and large-format printing. Experience in performing press checks.


Required Education
Bachelor's degree in Cartography, Geography, or Earth Sciences


Experience Requirements
10+ years of intensive and progressive experience in digital cartographic and GIS technology and map making.
