I created a feature class from a csv with lat-lon. It has 150 variables. Many are simply one-character codes. When imported, they are defined as length=254. Some integer numerics are defined as float. 1.) Is it possible to define the data type and length of variables when imported? 2.) Can I change the length after it's created, and if so, how do I do that? or 3.) Do I really have to define a new attributes with appropriate properties and then copy values?
It's not a surprise that I'm hoping for an option 1 or 2 answer. Thank you!
