Hi All,
I am looking for a tool (preferably a freeware) that can extract the coordinates from the exif information in
geotagged photos directly to a CSV file. I am currently using a 2 step process which is converting it to KML
using GeoSetter and then using KML2CSV to get the coordinates but I was wondering if anyone had a more direct
approach to extract this information.
Many thanks in advance!

Hello there,
Yesterday I got a small project in which geosetter will be also involved. So if you don't mind I would ask you some question privatelly.
Anyway:
Have a look at:
http://www.alta4.com...ifextractor.php
Not free, don't even know how much is it (there is no price on website) but does what has to do.
Regards,
Gregory

take a look here and see if this helps solve the issue? I haven't followed all the links etc.

From the Manifold site:
XIF Tags
Exchangeable Image File Format (EXIF) is a standard used mostly by digital cameras for adding information to JPEG images produced by those cameras. EXIF tags can contain a very wide variety of information that is inserted into images by camera programmers. Manifold recognizes both EXIF tags as well as EXIF tag directories written by major camera vendors.
If a jpg image contains EXIF tags, Manifold will write the information from those tags into the Notes pane properties for that image. To see the EXIF information, open the image: with the focus on the opened image the Notes pane will show the EXIF information for that image.
jpg images containing orientation EXIF tags will be rotated and flipped as necessary to use the orientation specified.
regards

ExifReader (http://www.takenet.o...ifread/english/) is the piece of freeware I use to get information out of the header file. It exports to CSV, but doesn't batch. So I hope you don't have a thousand photos to process. ^_^

Is there any revert tool - I mean one which could let to read information from csv and join it (add/ update exif's tags to image) ?
Txt file and image file could have the same name to make match easier.

Here's a more extensive article and more tools. Maybe something will fit your needs:
