I just gave a talk the other night at Ignite Spatial Northern Colorado. We had about 200 people in attendance and it was a huge success. You can view my talk on cartographic design tips and tricks here:
This talk was given in an Ignite format - that means it's 5 minutes long with 15 seconds per slide. There was one glitch where the slide didn't advance when it was supposed to but otherwise it went pretty well! The last slide in my talk showcases the brilliant City of Moncton map by DanTheMapMan who used CartoTalk for peer-review a couple of weeks ago.

Great talk!! Too bad you didn't have more time to expand....five minutes is not a whole lot of time.
