FYI, I never really say howdy.
I am a GIS/Cartography student at Penn State getting my MGIS. I have a BA in graphic design, and have been a designer for 10 years, I also specialize in publication layout. I am actively looking for an opportunity to start my GIS/Cartography career. I would be interested in entry level positions or paid long term internships. I would really like the opportunity to work with skilled cartographers that could help teach me the craft and allow me to develop my skills under their guidance. I am a quick and proactive learner.
I currently live in Texas but would consider relocating for the right opportunity.
I hope to learn a lot from others on CartoTalk and advance my understanding and skills in cartography.
Thanks
