Hi!
I have the following problem. When I write on the search bar with cyrillic letters, there is any unknown symbols, but not the letters, I've written.
I wonder if there is any option that will allow me to search for words, written in cyrillic font.
Cyrillic in MAPublisher 8.2

Are you referring to searching attributes? This should work. We test a variety of unicode and character set encodings (include Cyrillic, Japanese, and Chinese) with every release of MAPublisher.

Addition to Garvan's question --
Are you referring to the MAP Web Author search function?

Unfortunately this appears to be a problem in the base technology that MAPublisher's flash component is based on, Adobe Flex.
See this Adobe forum thread: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/432182
The work around they suggest is to copy and paste the characters into the text field. Also, you may want try different input methods (e.g. virtual keyboards or ALT-key combinations).

Also, I should mention that a better workaround would be to create a search box in HTML use the MAPublisher Web Author API (see http://www.avenza.com/mapublisher/mapwebauthor/api) to use the search function. This map demonstrates how:
