Hello . . .

I'm a "Geomatics Engineering Technologist" from Calgary, AB, Canada. Professionally, I do oil & gas work for a legal land survey firm, predominately with ArcGIS. I do get to pull out MicroStation every now and then, though.

I'm an avid angler, and I've recently begun building fishing and hunting maps for friends: when commercial products aren't available to suit their needs . . . I'd rather spend my time fishing than building them something they can purchase for themselves (unless there is jerky or smoked pike involved).
