But I have to ask. Where in tarnation is Yogo?
Never heard of Yogo. No Yogo on Google.
Hey Frax, Hugo ever go to Yogo?
Seems like a nice place. I want to go to Yogo in a Yugo

Tell us more about your work - how long did this map take and how did you make it (i.e. Illustrator)?
Does Yogo need a mayor?

Yeah, 100 hours for dawing or a little bit more...Interesting. It's obvious you've put a lot of thought and time into this!

LOL, I saw this and thought: "That's gotta be the coolest city ever! Where is it so I can move there?!"
Very nice map too.
Thank you. I hope, someday we can make a virtual 3D trip in this city

That is super impressive Andrew - I love the design elements and small details everywhere, and you have a great imagination for city design - especially a modern city like Yogo.
Tell us more about your work - how long did this map take and how did you make it (i.e. Illustrator)?
Does Yogo need a mayor?
Thank you for kind words
As for mayor - you are the first candidate! Take second one and we'll hold an electon

I,ve never seen this before. How did this originate? Do people do these maps as a hobby? Is it part of some movement or sub-culture like the people who write 'what if' histories?

Not only is this Yogo map impressive but there is a whole galaxy of such imaginary maps on that site you linked.

It's site of my own maps. Mapmaking is just my hobby as part of geofiction. I know there're a lot of people who share the same interest. Some of them accented on SimCity game, building 3d imaginary cities with appropriate software. Others draw mediaevial maps for RPG games or invites parallel universes, imagining different countries and their history. I don't know eiher there's particular sub-culture of that or not, but the samples of this activity we can meet worldwide on the web.

I did run into a snack called Yogo, kind of a fruitbased, gummy balls for kids. Coincidence, or not? Anyway, I think your map should have been on the label.

Yogo looks like a nice place, maybe a possible location for a CartoTalk field trip or for the next NACIS conference? So much water right up there in the city centre, but I wonder if the major roads there ruin the view?
I have no objection to take Yogo as the next NACIS conference meeting place
