Hello all

My name is Clover. I currently work as a cartographer, mapping out the electric grid and landbase for the past 5 years. I started using GIS for the first year as a mapper but for the past 4 years have been working in a system called ICL for Solaris, ENMAC, and I also draft using a Keuffel & Esser Leroy & Stencil.... I LOVE making maps, but unfortunatly my job does not keep me up to pace with the rest of the cartography world. Long story short, I have arrived here in search of learning about how to market myself as a freelance cartographer. I will be using photoshop & illustrator to get started but honestly have no idea where to take my next steps. Any & all advice is greatly appreciated :D I'm very enthusiastic about this endeavor but feel kind of lost lol.

Well, have a wonderful day :)

Hi and welcome! Sounds like an interesting background, and I am sure you will find some useful tips around here. Enthusiasm gets you quite far, by the way!
