Inspired by the last call for quotes here we (as in the admins of Cartotalk) have decided to introduce a few rules for the "Business Opportunities" section.

• This section has 2 goals: find cartographers to work on projects for you and provide information about your own cartographic business.
• Effective immediately all posts and replies in this forum will have to be approved by one of the admins before they become visible.
• If you're posting an opportunity, please include as much information about the project as possible so that interested parties can make you a better offer. Also include your contact details (email/phone) if you want the interested parties to contact you directly. If you do not provide those details it is your responsibility to check back regulary and contact the party of your choice directly. Please note that if you're a new member to Cartotalk you cannot send or receive PM's (private messages) yet. We as admins will keep an eye out and validate your membership as soon as we can.
• If you're responding to an opportunity, please limit your post to you website/portfolio and contact information. Do not post your actual quote here in the interest of fairness. Asking for clarification on the content of the opportunity is allowed.
• Any non-cartography/GIS business opportunity will be removed.
• The admins reserve the right to edit posts that do not comply with these rules.
