Hi everyone,
Last Fall at NACIS PCD I demonstrated Ortelius, including use of Sequence Markers. These are symbols that automatically number themselves, 1,2,3,... Later in the hall, Alex Tait suggested automatic renumbering of sequence markers would come in handy (thanks Alex!). We agreed and went to work. As of update 1.0.5 sequence markers renumber automatically if you delete a middle number in the sequence. You can also move a numbered marker backwards, forwards, to the beginning or end of the sequence (Edit > Symbols > Sequence). You also now have a suite of options for making these symbols numeric, alphabetic, and roman numeral on the fly. You can view a short screencast on Sequence Markers, and if you're new to Ortelius you can try the new functionality out yourself with our free trial (Ortelius requires Mac OS X).
