I'm Carlos Gordón, Specialist in Geographic Information System,

My recent experience includes:

Metromapas: (http://www.metromapas.net) is funded by the R & D Call of SENACYT, and it aimed to develop a platform for geospatial information about the city of Panama. This project included the development of a database containing the location of business, elements of transport (bus stops, and terminals Piqueras, traffic lights, pedestrian bridges, (http://www.scribd.co...MapasRutasBuses) and other public services.

National Atlas of Health and Health GIS (http://www.gorgas.go...ATLAS/Mapas.htm), is a project to work as development consultants, hired by the Gorgas Memorial Institute, and who was the consultant body to the MOH. It was to prepare databases, training of staff in the MOH / Gorgas in the use of GIS tools and the development of the National Atlas of Health in 2008 a period of 6 months.

Actually I work as Co- Researcher in Gorgas Memorial Institute, making a stduy about, "Risk factors associated with high incidence of cancer recorded in the district of La Represa, district of La Chorrera, Panama Province, during the period 2001 - 2005: Baseline Study." This project include statistical analysis of cancer registries database

Aditionally i have experienced making mining public databases like census, health databases, and polls. Some examples from my work in: Visit My Website
