Interesting. Somehow I have the feeling that it won't really take off for mainstream cartography! It is not every day we see a new projection, though.

It looks pretty neat indeed, but I too wonder about the practical use.

A couple of these maps are part of the current exhibit, Infodecdata, in the Graphic Design Museum in Breda.

The museum has a little store attached to it, picked up some interesting books on design and freelancing there. It's worth a visit if you're in the neighbourhood.
