My printer has warned me that "recycled fibers are shorter and the strength of folding is not as good". Has anyone printed on recycled paper and been disappointed with the map falling apart at the folds sooner than expected? What was the paper weight? Coated or un?
I printed a recent map on 128 gsm (that's 88#, I think). There is a fair bit of roughness along the folds but the paper feels very sturdy and there's no sign of cracking yet, unlike on one of my 115gsm (80#) maps.
Thanks.
