Hello,

A new version of StatPlanet Map Maker has just been released for making interactive Flash-based maps. This is a free application which you can customize to suit your needs. Since version 2 it is also possible to import your own map using the included Flash template. Data can be edited and imported automatically using Excel.

New in version 2.1 is the possibility to have customized map legends (colors/values/labels) for each indicator, and the possibility to make qualitative/descriptive as well as quantitative maps. To change the map color scheme, click on any of the colors in the map legend. There are numerous options for customizing both the interface and the map according to preference.
