xkcd was a major hit for Physics uni students. I think of all of them, this one is my favourite:

I don't get the one Matt posted, but Emily's made me laugh! Good thing it's early here and not many people around.

"sudo" is the Unix command to run another command with the permissions of the superuser or root account. I guess you can say it has more authority that way, which the comic uses as a punchline.

I don't get the one Matt posted...
The joke I posted references the UNIX command "sudo" which allows users to run programs with the security privileges of another user. It's the GOD command that can allow unrestricted access to control anything.
It's a (super) geek thing.
It makes me crack-up every time I think about it, having shouldered a bit of "command-line work" in the past.
