I'm just giving my introduction. I'm currently a geography student interested in GIS applications in crime and business. I'm joining because I actually saw a few questions here that I knew the answer to and because I regularly need some advice myself.

lol, thanks man. I'm sure I could come up with some ways to use GIS for that purpose. I can imagine it being more profitable than my current uses as well
