Hello All,

Has anyone ever come across this:
When trying to union two shapefiles (both created from CAD polygons), I get this error:

ERROR 999999: Error executing function. Invalid Topology [M coord limit exceeded.] Failed to execute (Union).

These are lots of little parcels, I can't imagine how else I can do this if I can't union them. Any ideas?

I'm running 9.3 (ArcView license only) on Windows XP.

Thanks in advance.

Nevermind folks! I just converted the shapefiles to a geodatabase and didn't bring over the Z or M values. Clean it right up!

Thanks anyway.

ET GeoTools also has a feature to convert ZM to shape.

I had the same error (using dwg files). I solved the problem by saving the inicial dwg files to dxf (eliminates the M/Z polygons).
