I'm not finding a way to find and replace carriage returns with spaces in Illustrator CS4. I'm finding "forced line break" in the find and replace palette, but though there are a lot of these in my file, they are not found, nor can I cut and paste—it thinks I'm pasting a space. Any thoughts? Am I missing something obvious, or is AI missing something obvious?
