Can i converted in another form readable from arcgis?

but the avx file i have is from a custom application not ESRI and i don't know exactly the process that are included in that.

I need to access it but i don't have arcview.
Only arcmap.

That's an extension, right? It performs some sort of function in ArcView, right? If that's the case, then I'm not sure you can use it in ArcMap as it's an entirely different program. If someone created the extension for ArcView, more than likely someone has created one with similar functions for ArcMap - just have to look it up. Do you know what it's supposed to do?

Yes it is an extension and it's supposed to create thematic maps according to landuse, but i think it was created by a local firm so possibly there is no ArcMap version.

I can access the code but i don't know how to convert it for use in ArcMap.
