Not sure if this is the right section for this, but though some of you might be interested. Mobilizy has proposed a standard for Augmented Reality browsers (e.g. wikitude or layar) based on Google and OGC's KML specification called ARML http://www.openarml.org/. Unfortunately the page is a bit sparse, so it is difficult to tell how many additions are included, but there are a few examples. It will be interesting to see how much it catches on, but also has the backing of the AR consortium.
