I am looking for some information on how to display maps to show the layers color against the imagery/raster background? Is there a website that will assist me to decide which color for the Map ? Thanks !

I am trying to display soil lines overlay IFSAR of a specific area at a 1:50,000 scale ?

Any suggestion ?

Thanks

I've done this with the Apeldoorn city map, transparent land-use polygons on top of aerial photos. We've found that it's hard to really accurately control this, as the color from the photo has a very large influence on the end result.

Trial and error I would say.
