Nice! I had wanted to do this since 2005, but realized it violates Googles terms.
ESRI has a great data product worth checking out - I use it constantly.

That's exactly the reason why a similar product for Manifold is not supported or endorsed by Manifold at all. Aside from that, Google changes the servers hosting the tiles every now and then

Apparently the use of Virtual Earth / Bing imagery is okay in this respect.
