Hi!

Can anybody help me with this problem.
I would like to create a "continious" worl map in Robinson projection. Basicaly I want to fill the corners of the map with projected contents as in this sample. What software I should use? I tried ArcGIS, Erdas Imagine, Global Mapper, ... and no sucess.

There was a thread a while back about dong the same thing with a Van der Grinten. From what I can tell, you would have to create special versions of the projection for those areas by specifying different reference meridians, and then you would have to patch them together.

You could try Flex Projector.

I contacted the author of the software "flexprojector" - this cant be done with
the actual version (0.111beta)
