Just wanted to share. I just love imagining what it must have been like to kayak up the Hudson River then.

Very interesting map, but the editorial part needs some help. The descriptive text blocks were not near the map feature they were describing making it very confusing. I would have liked to see text about more of the features on the map too.

I agree that the map could use some work, but I really like the base layer. Very nice texturing.
