I would like to ask if anyone knows where to get map of DR Congo at scale around 1:100000? Any advice would be great.

Maybe not as detailed as you are looking for but the Perry-CastaƱeda Library at the University of Texas has a great online collection of maps.

Hi,
Although I'm having problems opening the site, you should find Administrative borders and imagery for all african countries here: http://www.maplibrar...frica/index.php
Cheers!

East View Cartography has some older maps. I haven't done business with them though.

Thanks Crishan for pointing this out - yes we do have some for sale. Sure they're older, but frankly, very little exists that is both large-scale and recent. Google Earth doesnt do you much good either given the continual cloud cover. There's virtually no chance that UofT (above) has anything more than we have as they likely bought it from us, and probably doesnt have all the holdings we do.
But either way, your ideal map-series likely does not exist. And of course to cover all of DRC at 1:100k would require many mapsheets in a grid.

Hi Brandon,
I didn't realise that East View is from the Twin Cities. I have been working near Sandstone a couple years ago. How are the mosquitos? Already out?
