Jennifer Johnston, HBA GIS-CS

I am a certified GIS-Cartographic Specialist from Fleming College and a Geography and Fine Arts Graduate from Bishop’s University. I am currently nearing the end of my current contract workiing as a cartographer, and I am wishing to continue my employment within the GIS/Cartographic design field.
I have experience in GIS, cartography, remote sensing, database management, and graphic design.
In my current position I work with many groups and partners who provide data and input, along with project parameters for the maps that are to be created. In addition to cartographic design and GIS work, I prepare reports, and other written documents providing additional information about the maps.
I can work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, without sacrificing quality. I am able to manage spatial data and present it in the form of a digital map, graphic, or chart in a clear and intuitive manner conveying the appropriate message effectively. I am diligent about accuracy and attention to detail, and I work well both individually and as part of a team.
