This is a cool map i saw at the San Diego Natural History Museum depicting users of water from the Colorado River. I just liked the whole mapping with copper pipes thing and wanted to post.

Very creative idea!
This is one of those rare instances where the word "anthropomorphism" applies be used to describe a non-animal entity. In this case, of course, the map-maker is making the river seem as if its only purpose in life is to provide drinking and irrigation water to humans.

The SD Natural History Museum was one of my favorite places to go as a kid (along with the zoo and other museums in Balboa Park).
