In some kind of Cartographic Rollercoaster Mashup, called Here & There, bends the world into horizon-less, roller coaster loop topography, which allows the viewer to see their position from the first person perspective (complete with those 3D buildings that usually just get in the way) alongside the route/terrain.

A little impractical, but its always interesting to see intuitive cartographic methods!
