How the hell do you guys guess these things! That could be anywhere!
I,ve have been drawing maps for 25 years and I havent been able to get one! here or on skyscraper city! not even close!
Always had that trouble-probably would'nt even recognize my own neighbourhood
I think that's why I got into perspective oblique maps. My brain just cant process straight-up plan views...like being a tone-deaf musician!

I'm with you, Jean-Louis! Maybe I should be making persppective oblique maps!

Good Job Chris!

I was hoping it would take at least a day so I could post a zoomed-out aerial (below) that depicted a concentric symmetrical feature. Thus showing a symmetrical feature within a symmetrical feature at a vacation spot.

I like the 2nd image - nice. I have long been dreaming of Cambodia and Vietnam trip, so have 'toured' the area w/GoogleEarth a bit.

OK - here is my location....had similar view 1 month ago :)

It may not be that difficult for this crowd. We'll see.

I'm pretty sure that's the Na Pali coast of Kauai -- good one, Chris.

I just did one, so I designate Hans as the next photo putter-upper.

So there!

As a hint... this place has both a real and a fictional name, I'm going to accept both as a correct answer.

That's it! Well done. And it's indeed the Google Earth image, if you struggle with the obliqueness controls long enough...

Good. I was hoping I'd win another because I got a great one you might enjoy. Not too hard if you're aware of the area - and it is a well traveled area. Here it is:Attached File  zoom1.jpg   539.07KB   89 downloads
Makes for a nice geometric presentation.
