The Inca site Saksaywaman (or Sacsayhuaman if you prefer a different spelling), on the outskirts of Cuzco, Peru.

A wild and rugged landscape.

It's the 2nd highest it its region and if you don't know what you're doing, you shouldn't go there.

Geographically speaking yes, Europe even, I'll give you that one, although I'm pretty sure you could find somebody there who would deny being part of Europe. Well, if you would be able to find anybody at all there because it isn't exactly heaving with people over there.

So another hint... It's in the region that's the subject of another recent Cartotalk thread.

Bealach na Bà or "Pass of the Cattle" (Scotland) - looks like it would be an enjoyable motorcycle/bicycle ride.

That's it, whether it's an enjoyable bike ride remains to be seen, I'll be cycling it from west to east in september if all goes well.

You're next.

Keeping with the road theme:

It is known as one of the more dangerous roads for semi truck travel, let alone any large vehicle.

A portion of this highway has a nickname (the origin could be from cost of building it "ore" something else):

That's the "Million-Dollar Highway," US 550, between Ouray and Silverton, Colorado.  A rockslide closed this portion for several weeks over the winter.

Reminds me that I need to be working on my annual updates to my Silverton-area and Southwest Colorado maps, due to Directory Plus next week.

Correct!  I found the lack of guardrails for portions of it to be a bit daunting.  It helps me to be grateful for the flatter, straighter, and less dangerous drive to work.

On to you, Dennis!

Here's a rather unusual bridge:

It reminds me of the new A7 highway in Luxembourg, which has extensive tunneling, but that doesn't seem to match this picture (not even if I rotate it).
