hi all

have a small problem to solve and cant figure out my way out of it.. google doesnt help much as well :[

i have a table with set of variables describing ~60 ellipses: XY coordinates of a centre, major & minor axis, and angle of an axis

is there any way to automatically create such ellipses from table?

Sounds like something FME can do. If you can send me your table I'd be happy to do this for you.

Here you go.

I assumed the major/minor axes were measured in the same units as the coordinates. The rotation angle is, according to FME, measured in degrees counterclockwise from horizontal, and measures the rotation of the primary axis from horizontal.

Let me know if any of this needs to be changed.
