Greetings all,

It looks like Microsoft Silverlight is starting to become increasingly popular in the GIS world, so in response, we've just released the first beta of Map Suite Silverlight Edition. This is a native .NET control that you can use to add full-featured and customizable GIS to your Silverlight applications.

We've got a 60-day free trial that you can grab from our website.

Map Suite Silverlight Edition isn't just a slimmed-down control; it has almost all of the features of our desktop- and Web-based controls. That means stuff like spatial queries, interactive shape drawing and editing, point animation, distance calculations, rich tooltips and markers, projections and so on.

We're looking for feedback on how we can further enhance and improve Map Suite Silverlight Edition as we go through the beta process. Feel free to post over on our discussion forums and let us know what you think.

Thanks!
